Under the supervision of the Youth Centers and Organizations Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Youth Committee of Al Khor Sports Club organized an awareness workshop titled “Give Way – Emergency” for participants of the Summer Camp 2026, in cooperation with the Qatar Red Crescent Training, Research and Development Center.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Adlabi and aimed to raise young people’s awareness of the importance of responding promptly to emergency vehicles in order to help save lives and reduce emergency response times.

During the session, Dr. Adlabi highlighted the importance of public cooperation with emergency services and explained the correct procedures to follow when encountering an emergency vehicle on the road. He also outlined the safest and most effective ways to give way without putting oneself or other road users at risk.

Commenting on the initiative, Hamad Ahmed Al Muhannadi, Head of the Youth Committee, said the workshop was organized to help build a generation that understands its responsibilities toward public safety. He noted that the “Give Way – Emergency” workshop received excellent engagement from participants and played an important role in promoting awareness of the need to cooperate with emergency vehicles to support faster emergency response and improve community safety.
