In partnership with the Qatar Sports for All Federation and the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Schools across Qatar are organizing regular sports visits and tours for students at various educational levels. The visits feature a range of training sessions, exercises and sports activities that encourage students to make physical activity a part of their daily lives. In recent days, the school visits and tours have witnessed strong attendance and wide participation from male and female students. Last Thursday, the Federation’s technical team visited Abdullah bin Ali Al Misnad Preparatory School for Boys. The visit featured a range of diverse sports training sessions and exercises, with the participation of 60 students from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m, creating an energetic and engaging atmosphere while encouraging students to participate and engage in physical activity.

The tours also included a visit to Abi Ayyub Al Ansari Model School for Boys last Thursday, where sports training sessions were held from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m, with approximately 200 students taking part. The sessions featured a variety of physical and movement-based activities aimed at improving fitness levels and encouraging students to exercise regularly. Starting last Wednesday, the school tours also included a visit to Al Daayen Primary and Preparatory School for Girls, which saw the participation of 200 female students in sports exercises and activities under the supervision of female coaches from the Qatar Sports for All Federation. The tours also included a visit to Abu Hanifa Model School for Boys, with 310 students participating, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of physical activity and helping students develop healthy sporting habits.

Mr. Abdullah Al Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, said that the school visits program represents one of the key pillars of the Federation’s strategy to promote a culture of sports participation and bring sports activities and events to various segments of society. He explained that the regular school tours provide male and female students with the opportunity to engage in sports within their educational environment. He added: “The school visits are not limited to providing sports training; they also contribute to educating students about the importance of physical activity and encouraging them to choose sports that suit their interests and abilities. They also provide an opportunity to identify sporting talents at an early age, creating opportunities to develop and nurture them in the future.”
