With the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Sports and Youth, the Ministry’s platform for the Qatar Government Excellence Program was launched.

The idea was to launch from the suggestions of the Ministry’s Performance and Institutional Excellence Development Committee to develop a mechanism to showcase the Ministry’s abilities, achievements and reports attractively and methodically.

Maha Al-Rumaihi, the Director of the Planning, Quality and Innovation Department, explained that the launch of the platform comes within the framework of the preparation and coordination efforts undertaken by the Ministry of Sports and Youth to complete the file for participation in the Qatar Government Excellence Award to the whole extent, in cooperation with the Information Systems Department. It reflects the efforts that have been earned. In the past period, there was a lot of practice and evidence for the standards of the Qatar Government Excellence Program. It will also be considered a tributary of knowledge and sustainability, where the platform will be available to all Ministry employees to profit from it in developing performance.

Bassam Al-Yahri, Director of the Information Systems Department, explained that the electronic platform of the Qatar Government Excellence Program is a pioneering initiative that aims to remake how the ministry shows its achievements and performance. It is a dynamic and interactive space not only a collection of data and documents.

One of the main features of this platform is a wide storage of all files and documents related to different aspects and standards of the Qatar Government Excellence Model. This allows the Ministry employees to easily access and stay up to date on the standards and metrics we strive to achieve. Al-Yahri added that “the platform is a rich repository of our most important achievements, highlighting our best moments, news and comprehensive reporting. It allows us to keep in touch with you about the latest developments and achievements within the Ministry, making it a valuable resource for anyone interested in our work and our contribution to Qatar’s excellence”.
