Under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and in cooperation with the Al Jazeera Media Institute, the Doha Girls Center will hold a training workshop entitled “Speaking and Public Speaking Skills” next Monday. The workshop will take place at the Al Jazeera Media Institute and will be led by trainer Abdel Majeed Barakat.

The workshop, aimed at the leaders of tomorrow, is part of the motivational educational programs adopted by the Doha Girls Center to discover talents and encourage girls to showcase their skills. Its topics focus on understanding the fundamentals of media work by addressing the five key questions that form the basis of journalistic writing, as well as providing participants with professional public speaking techniques. It also aims to inspire them to become conscious and influential speakers in society while upholding professional ethics, in addition to other skills the girls will acquire.

The workshop also seeks to open new horizons in the fields of media and community work for girls, enabling them to participate in voluntary media workshops or produce visual content as part of the center’s projects.
