The third round of the Sport for All Summer Camp for Children 2026 kicked off this morning at Lusail Sports Hall. Organized by the Qatar Sport For All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the camp welcomes boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 11, drawing growing interest from both children and their parents. The third round follows the success of the first two sessions, which attracted strong participation and enthusiastic engagement with the camp’s activities and programs. Building on that success, organizers have further enhanced and diversified the program to better meet children’s needs, providing a rewarding summer experience that combines fun, learning, and a wide range of sports and physical activities.

The camp offers a comprehensive schedule of sports and recreational activities, including fitness training, speed, strength, flexibility, and balance exercises, football matches, table tennis, active games, Muay Thai self-defense training, and a variety of other sports activities. Group activities also create an atmosphere of excitement and friendly competition, encouraging children to stay active, participate, and spend enjoyable times practicing a useful activity.

The growing number of participants from one round to the next reflects the camp’s continued success. The diversity of its programs, high-quality organization, and positive environment at Lusail Sports Hall have helped attract more participants, while the strong presence of parents who regularly attend to support and encourage their children has further enhanced the value of the summer vacation.

Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sport For All Federation, said that the increasing number of participants and the growing demand for enrollment in the third round clearly demonstrate the quality of the camp’s sports and recreational content. He noted that the camp provides a unique summer experience that combines sports, entertainment, and learning in a safe and motivating environment. Al-Dosari added that the federation is committed to ensuring the camp goes beyond traditional sports sessions by offering a diverse program that allows children to practice multiple sports, participate in games, competitions, and recreational activities, while also developing their skills through awareness workshops and educational programs.

He further emphasized that the vibrant atmosphere at the camp reflects the strong interaction between children, coaches, and supervisors, noting that enthusiasm, friendly competition, and teamwork have become defining features of the program. He also highlighted the important role parents play in the camp’s success, explaining that their presence and encouragement provide children with additional motivation and create a warm, family-oriented environment. “We greatly appreciate this level of parental involvement because it reflects families’ awareness of the importance of making the most of the summer vacation and encouraging their children to participate in activities that combine recreation with physical activity,” Al-Dosari said.
