Under the representation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Saumaisma and Al-Daayen Youth Center is launching the 12th edition of the “Kashta” exhibition, which specializes in supplies for land and sea trips and camping equipment, with the participation of about 60 companies and organizations specialized in the field of land and sea trips.
The exhibition, which is organized by the center and will continue until the 8th of November, aims to link heritage with reality, customs, and traditions, and to encourage young people to invest in local industries during the camping seasons and on various trips to the land, as it will include various exhibits of supplies for land and sea trips used in camping and fishing. Most of the exhibits are from local industry, and the exhibition includes various activities that attract the public and amusement programs for children and youth.
Mr Nawaf Al-Mudhahka, Head of the Saumaisma and Al-Daayen Youth Center, said: “The Kashta exhibition has great value in our souls as it is linked to our culture, heritage and passion for the camping season. Over the past years, the exhibition has been able to prove itself and attract the public, especially since the exhibition develops enormously every year. It motivates local industries and promotes Gulf culture.”
He also said “The exhibition will witness different activities and entertainment programs will be organized for visitors. It intends to stimulate Qatari companies specialized in the manufacture and exchange of camping and attract young Qatari entrepreneurs and employees in the fields of camping supplies as part of the center’s efforts to support them in this field. We aspire to meet the needs of camping travellers.” And the sea and encouraging camping.”
The Saumaisma and Al Daayen Youth Center has been organizing the Kashta exhibition since 2012 the first edition of the exhibition, and it is the first of its kind in the State of Qatar.
