The Ministry of Sports and Youth organized the third edition of simulating sessions of the Shura Council, held at the Prince Tamim Hall within the premises of the Shura Council.
This event aims to enlighten young people in the field of legislative discussions and constructive dialogues, in line with the vision of the Ministry of Sports and Youth under the theme “Active and Responsible Youth with National Awareness, and a Society Engaged in Sports”.
This experience extends over a period of two weeks. The first day was dedicated to breaking the ice and familiarizing participants with Qatar’s national youth policy. The following two days were allocated for acquainting participants with the Shura Council, its internal regulations, and structure.
The training of the selected youth in this batch continues with the simulation of Shura Council sessions for 14 days, with the final session scheduled for the 27th of this month.
Participants expressed their happiness to take part in such events, expressing their desire to explore decision-making processes and enhance their capacities and skills in various fields.
They emphasized that such events would provide them with insight into what to expect in the future, encouraging their full and active participation, in response to Qatar’s national youth policy advocating for full and active youth engagement.
