Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Qatari Youth Hostels announce their summer programs for the year 2024. In a press conference held today, Saturday, at the headquarters of the Qatari Youth Hostels, the summer programs and youth camps for the summer of 2024 were reviewed, which are scheduled to be launched starting from tomorrow.

Mr. Abdullah Saeed, Head of Public Relations and Communication, stated: “After the great success we achieved in the summer of 2023, we worked this year on organizing various types of summer programs for youth and dedicating camps for children, which will equip them with different life skills. In addition, these programs will help discover their unique talents and will contribute to their discovery of historical tourist sites and landmarks.”

Innovative Programs

Ms. Fatima Al-Sulaiti, Activity and Program Supervisor, said: “This year, we worked on launching four youth summer programs and three innovative and purposeful children’s camps. These include: the Knowledge Program, the Tourism Guidance Training Program, the Your Game is Your Idea Program, the Conscious Youth for a Better Future Camp (two versions for boys and one for girls), and the Applied Training Program for Volunteers, starting from 30/06/2024 and ending on 07/09/2024.”

Optimal Use of Time

Ms. Lulwa Al-Malki, Activity and Program Supervisor, stated: “This package of programs and camps comes after studying the needs of the target groups and the directives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth to seek innovative and diverse ideas for summer activities to encourage children and youth to participate. We invite all parents to make the most of the summer vacation by enrolling their children in summer programs, and for the youth to utilize their free time in activities that benefit them.”
