The Qatar Sports for All Federation, a partner of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, concluded the activities of the Sports for All Winter Camp 2025, held at the Lusail Sports Hall, at midday yesterday, Tuesday. The camp had been extended for an additional three days beyond its originally scheduled closing last Thursday, following requests from parents and participating children.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Federation, expressed his appreciation for the strong community response and for parents’ eagerness to enroll their sons and daughters in the camp, which ran for ten days at Lusail Sports Hall during the winter school holiday. The camp provided children with the opportunity to benefit from daily sports and recreational activities held from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A ceremony honoring participants was held last Thursday afternoon. The camp attracted more than 350 boys and girls, aged between 6 and 11 years.

The winter camp included a wide range of recreational segments, light sports exercises, and mini challenges for children, featuring speed and strength drills, football, self-defense training through Muay Thai, as well as stretching, flexibility, and balance exercises. All activities were conducted under the supervision of specialized male and female coaches who possess the experience, qualifications, and skills needed to work effectively with children. The diverse activities helped fill children’s free time during the school break by maintaining physical activity and creating a dynamic daily routine parallel to the regular school schedule, through an engaging and motivating program that combined enjoyable sports and recreational segments, boosting children’s energy and vitality.
