The 12th edition of the Furjan Football Championship, organized by the Qatar Sports For All Federation under the Ministry of Sports and Youth, kicks off today. Al Thumama Stadium will host four matches starting from 5:15 PM as part of the first round of the tournament. The opening match will feature Haloul against Al Dhaayen, followed by Khalifa City versus Ain Khaled at 6:00 PM. The third match will see Al Wakra facing Al Dhaayen 2, and the day will conclude with a match between Laibeeb and Al Nasr at 7:30 PM.The 12th edition of the championship, held at the Furjan fields in Al Thumama, features the participation of 16 teams, divided into four groups. Group 1 includes Haloul, Al Dhaayen, Al Hilal, and Al Maida. Group 2 consists of Khalifa City, Ain Khaled, Onaiza, and Umm Salal. Group 3 comprises Al Wakra, Al Dhaayen 2, Al Sakhama, and Al Thumama. Meanwhile, Group 4 includes Laibeeb, Al Nasr, Al Maamoura, and Al Uwaynah.
