Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, the first round of the Ramadan All-Sport Racing Series will kick off today at 8:30 PM in the Al Shaqab area, as part of the Ramadan calendar. This includes about 60 sports and community activities, open to participation for men, women, and all age groups, from 17 years and above, as well as for children aged 7 to 16 and even for children from 3 to 6 years old.

 

The organizing committee has set the timing for the races, with the 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km races starting at 9:30 PM, while the children’s race starts at 8:00 PM. The Ramadan All-Sport Racing Series will consist of four races, continuing until April 3rd, with one race per week. The second race will be held on the 28th of this month, the third on the 30th, and the series will conclude on April 3rd. The races include four distances: 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, and an 800-meter race for children aged 3 to 6.

 

Mr. Abdullah Al Dossary, Head of Activities and Events at the Qatar Sports for All Federation, stated that at the end of the race, participants will be honored with medals in all distances, and special prizes will be awarded to the top 3 participants in the open category, aged 17 to 39, in the 5 km and 10 km races.
