Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Qatar Sports for All Federation organized the first round of a series of sports and recreational events for senior women, titled “Kabeerat Al-Qadr”, which will continue over the span of a full month. The initiative is held in cooperation with the Empowerment and Elderly Care Center “Ehsan,” with the participation of 42 female members from the center.

This initiative falls within the federation’s community-focused mission, which aims to provide sports activities for all segments of society. The federation is committed to diversifying its activities and reaching individuals and different groups in their respective locations.

The second round of events dedicated to senior women is scheduled for next Sunday, while the third round will take place on June 3rd, with the series concluding on June 15th.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, emphasized the federation’s strong commitment to organizing events for the senior population, recognizing their vital role in society and celebrating their value and status.

Al-Dosari stated that these ongoing activities are part of the federation’s efforts to raise awareness of the rights of the elderly and to shed light on their basic needs and physical well-being. He added that the events are specially designed to suit their capabilities and physical conditions, contributing positively to both their physical and mental health.
