As part of its community role, the Qatar Sports for All Federation organizes regular visits to schools across the country, aiming to promote physical activity among students. In this context, a new visit took place at Abdulrahman Bin Jassim Preparatory School the day before yesterday, featuring a range of sports, awareness, and health activities. The visit saw the participation of several students who benefited from and enjoyed the various sports and entertainment programs offered.

The visit by the Sports for All Federation to Abdulrahman Bin Jassim School created a vibrant sports atmosphere through diverse activities, including self-defense training in Muay Thai, fitness tests, bodyweight exercises, and biometric measurements for weight, height, and flexibility. These activities are part of the obesity prevention project in which the Qatar Sports for All Federation is involved, working in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Department of Sports Affairs at the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The goal is to promote a physically active community that enjoys a healthy lifestyle.

The school visits, which have become a regular activity for the Sports for All Federation at boys’ and girls’ schools across the country, are part of a series of ongoing initiatives. This week, the Federation organized various activities during visits to several schools, including Al-Zubair Bin Al-Awwam Primary School for Boys, Hamza Bin Abdul-Muttalib Primary School, Saad Bin Muadh School, and Imam Al-Shafi’i Preparatory School for Boys. All these visits witnessed great participation from students across all grades, in an atmosphere filled with energy and enthusiasm.

In addition, the Sports for All Federation organized similar visits in September to girls’ schools, including Al-Shifa Bint Abdulrahman Primary School, where around 300 students from all grades participated in the sports activities. At Al-Markhiya Primary School, 200 students engaged in physical activities, while at Moza Bint Mohammed Preparatory School, 120 students took part. There was also a visit to Sukaina Preparatory School.
