In the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth and President of the Gulf Football Federation, and His Excellency Mr. Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, President of the Qatar Football Association, the Qatari national team conducted its final training session yesterday in preparation for its second Gulf Cup 26 match against the Omani national team at the Al-Sadaqa and Al-Salam Stadium, hosted by Kazma SC in Kuwait.

This session marked the team’s only training since their match against the UAE last Saturday. Coach Luis Garcia prioritized recovery training at the hotel on Sunday, giving the players a much-needed rest. Yesterday’s session focused on tactical and strategic preparations for the upcoming match. All players participated, showing a clear determination to play for victory and secure three crucial points to strengthen their position in a challenging group.

The first round ended in a draw among all four teams, making the upcoming match vital for advancing. Expectations suggest that the Qatari team will adopt a balanced approach, emphasizing both defense and offense to achieve the desired result. Coach Garcia plans to conclude the preparations with a technical meeting at the hotel today before heading to the stadium.

Over the past days, the coaching staff, led by Garcia, analyzed Oman’s previous match against Kuwait to assess the Omani team’s performance and devise an effective game plan to secure victory.

The Qatari players displayed high morale during training, with visible eagerness to be part of the starting lineup and a strong commitment to winning. The players emphasized their desire to deliver a strong performance to delight the fans and bring home the win.

The team also called on their loyal supporters to show even greater presence and backing during today’s match, promising to put on a performance that meets their expectations and secures victory.
