The third edition of the Ramadan Running Race took place on the mountain bike track at Education City, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in collaboration with Qatar Foundation. Participants from various age groups, aged 17 and above, had a unique sporting experience during a lively Ramadan evening. Abdullah Al-Dosari, the Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, confirmed that the third edition provided a great opportunity to enhance family participation and enjoy practicing sports. A total of 422 male and female competitors participated, racing distances of 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km, along with a special race for children aged 3-6 years over a distance of 800 meters to encourage them to engage in sports.

Women’s Races

The results of the 2.5 km race for women were as follows:

  • Shira Zilner won the intermediate category.
  • Aditi Ajit topped the 9-10 years category.
  • Afini Ajit won in the beginner’s category for 7-8 years.
  • In the open category, Kholoud Al-Kuwari finished first.
  • Al-Mansouri claimed first place in the Masters category.
  • Serine Abu Dhaki took the lead in the youth category.

In the 5 km women’s race, the results were:

  • Harriet Simpson topped the open category.
  • Widad Misawi secured first place in the Masters category.

In the 10 km women’s race:

  • Krisabel Relambagos finished first in the open category.
  • Aniska Siudmark led in the Masters category.

Men’s Races

In the 2.5 km men’s race:

  • John Isaac claimed first place in the intermediate category.
  • Ahmed Hashemi Sheikh won in the 9-10 years category.
  • Ryo Okich finished first in the 7-8 years category.
  • Adel Redaj won in the youth category.
  • In the open category, Berlinam Alenier took the first place.
  • Saleh Al-Qahtani topped the Masters category.

In the 5 km men’s race:

  • Nathan O’Neil claimed first place in the open category.
  • Yassin Mehdhabi won in the Masters category.

In the 10 km men’s race:

  • Ronald Mujita secured first place in the open category.
  • Arnaud Melen finished first in the Masters category.

In the 800-meter children’s race, the results were:

  • Edison Leon won first place in the girls’ category, followed by Sheikha Al-Abdullah in second.
  • In the boys’ category, Siar Al-Tamimi claimed first place.

At the end of the event, all participants were awarded medals and encouragement prizes.
