Under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Qatar Sports for All Federation is organizing its rounds at the Furjan Al Murikhba Stadium. The competitions continue for the tenth edition of the Furjan Fields Football Championship, with the second round of the group stage kicking off this Wednesday evening. There are four strong matches scheduled:

In the first match, Al-Wakrah and Al-Sadd teams will face off at 5:30 PM. The second match features Al-Dafna and Al-Mayda teams at 6:15 PM. The third match will be held at 7:00 PM between Al-Hazm and Um Salal teams. The day concludes with the fourth match between Haloul and Ras Laffan teams at 7:45 PM.

The first-round matches of the group stage were characterized by intense and goal-rich atmospheres. In the matches held the day before yesterday, Al-Dafna secured a victory over Al-Hilal with a score of 3-1, Al-Wakrah triumphed over Dukhan with a score of 3-2, Al-Mayda achieved a resounding victory over Haloul with a score of 7-1, and the fourth match between Al-Sadd and Al-Hazm ended in a goalless draw. These matches were marked by competitive and exciting football action.

The tournament operates on a round-robin format in a single stage. The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout rounds. The championship provides an excellent opportunity for youth aged 16 and above, as it opens up opportunities for players who are not registered with the Qatar Football Association to showcase their talents. It also serves as a platform for discovering new talents that Qatari clubs can benefit from.

Each team consists of 14 players, with 7 players participating in each match, in addition to the goalkeeper, and 6 on the bench. The condition is that opportunities are provided for Qatari players to participate, and any Qatari player can be registered before the match to increase the number of participants in the championship.
