The activities of the summer camp, Summer of Science 23, were launched at the Qatar Scientific Club today, Sunday, 11 June, with two workshops specialized in the field of electric cars and the second in the field of digital manufacturing. The workshop specialized in electric car technology included introducing the principle of electric cars, their advantages and their positive impact on the environment. In this workshop, the participants also got acquainted with the main parts of electric cars and the maintenance of minor and frequent faults therein. It is noteworthy that this workshop is held in cooperation with the Department of Conservation and Energy Efficiency at the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation “Kahramaa”, where the workshop was presented by Eng. Muhammad Al-Sharshani, Head of the Electric Vehicles Unit in the management of rationalization and energy efficiency.
