The Ministry of Sports and Youth, represented by the Fazaa Youth Support Team, participated in the “Rafeeq Al Khair” initiative for the third consecutive year, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote the values of social solidarity and to instill a culture of volunteerism and humanitarian work among youth.
This year’s participation included organizing and distributing Iftar meals for fasting individuals, with wide involvement from young volunteers, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to supporting community initiatives that serve various segments of society during the holy month of Ramadan.
The 2026 edition also witnessed the participation of the Qatari Center of social Culural for Deaf, in a qualitative step aimed at enhancing the inclusion of youth with disabilities in humanitarian and volunteer work, and empowering them to actively contribute to community initiatives. This reflects the Ministry’s vision of achieving inclusivity and providing equal opportunities for all.
The Ministry of Sports and Youth affirmed that this participation aligns with its mission to support national initiatives that promote the spirit of giving and collective action, strengthen the concept of social responsibility among youth, and empower them to play a vital role in serving the community.
The Ministry also values the community partnerships that contribute to the success of such initiatives, praising the efforts of the Rafeeq Al Khair team and all participating entities, and reaffirming its continued support for programs that foster humanitarian work and reinforce the values of cooperation and solidarity within society.
