The Ministry of Sports and Youth launched the Young Entrepreneurs Club, which brings together a group of young Qatari entrepreneurs who have left their mark in entrepreneurship and project development in the social, sports, cultural and other fields.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth launched this Club in cooperation with a number of agencies in the country, including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Development Bank, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau.

The new Club launched by the Ministry’s Youth Affairs Department is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to empower youth, develop their qualifications, and open up to youth with all their affiliations and aspirations.

Mr. Mubarak Al-Dossary, Head of Youth Centers and Organizations Department in the Ministry’s Youth Affairs Department, said that the launch of the new Club is in line with the Ministry’s strategic plan 2023/2030, which set among its main objectives work to develop youth institutions, promote their programs and activities, and expand the number of youth institutions and their geographical distribution in Country.

He added that the Club was the result of an initiative launched by a group of enthusiastic youth in the field of entrepreneurship, where the idea of the initiative was developed to turn into a youth demand calling for the establishment of a Club that includes young entrepreneurs with specializations that distinguish it from other youth institutions.

He stressed that the Club, which was inaugurated today, will be a platform for launching youth energies in the field of entrepreneurship and refining the skills of young people, who are the most important building blocks of the nation, its greatest investments, and the largest reliable one in the renaissance of society.

For his part, Mr. Ibrahim Khaled Al-Sulaiti, President of the Young Entrepreneurs Club, said that entrepreneurship in the country has today become a pillar of the national economy, at a time when this sector receives great care from the official and private authorities in the country.

He pointed out that caring for the social, sports and cultural aspects of young entrepreneurs was the missing link in this field, which is what this Club seeks to achieve on the ground through the establishment of a Club for young entrepreneurs of the State of Qatar that seeks to gather them and strengthen the relationship between them through special youth programs under the umbrella of Qatar Vision 2030.

The president of the Club said that those in charge of the new Club will make unremitting efforts to develop programs and events commensurate with the aspirations of the members of this Club, such as economic education, organizing specialized seminars and workshops, as well as entertainment and awareness activities, in order to empower young entrepreneurs, advance their skills, and strive to make their relationship with each other an integrated practical relationship.
