The Ministry of Sports and Youth organized an interactive event titled “Our Youth Forum” on February 16, 2026, bringing together young people who represented the State of Qatar in international forums during 2025. The forum was held as part of the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening direct communication with youth and sharing their diverse experiences and expertise gained through their international participation.

The forum program began with welcoming remarks to the participants, followed by a short video highlighting the most notable youth engagements during 2025. In his speech, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Harami, Assistant Undersecretary for Youth Affairs, expressed his pleasure at meeting a distinguished group of Qatari youth who took on the responsibility of representing their country in international events and platforms. He emphasized that their qualitative achievements reflect the ability of Qatari youth to participate with confidence, express themselves with awareness, and lead dialogue with a strong sense of responsibility. He also praised the level demonstrated by the youth during their international engagements, considering these experiences as an integrated leadership model that contributes to building character and enhancing responsibility among young people.

For his part, Mr. Fawaz Abdullah Al-Musaifri, the Director of the Youth Affairs Department, expressed his pride in meeting the youth following their active participation in international forums, commending the competence and excellence they displayed while representing the nation. He also affirmed the department’s commitment to supporting and empowering youth to continue achieving accomplishments.

The forum program also included a segment titled “Youth Discussions,” during which participants reviewed key highlights of their international engagements throughout 2025, along with the knowledge-based, cultural, and humanitarian experiences that accompanied them, through brief interventions.

The event concluded with a presentation of the key outcomes and recommendations, which focused on the importance of enhancing youth participation in regional and international forums and benefiting from their experiences in developing youth programs and initiatives, while emphasizing the importance of following up on and building upon these efforts in the future.
