The Ministry of Sports and Youth concludes its Summer 2025 activities, with wide participation exceeding 43,000 participants across more than 750 sports and youth events held in various regions of the country.
The programs varied between sports, recreational, and awareness activities, including diverse events at Lusail Sports Arena, Education City Stadium, and Al-Furjan playgrounds. Running races were organized in multiple public parks, alongside special programs such as “365 Days of Activity,” self-defense training, and the Step Challenge, as well as youth-specific activities for boys and girls at youth centers.
The Ministry also launched several collaborative summer programs with the Ministry of Interior to promote awareness and skill development among youth. A key initiative was the awareness program “A Conscious Generation”, which benefited 1,163 young men and women across 28 youth centers and organizations, under the supervision of five trainers.
Additionally, “Hinat Salma Farm” hosted 4,686 participants from youth and girls’ centers, with an average daily participation of 158 attendees per center.
In the field of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), the Qatar Scientific Club and the Qatar Society of Engineers organized the STEM 2025 Summer Program, with the participation of over 141 students. Moreover, the Summer Data Camp, held in collaboration with the National Planning Council, Qatar Scientific Club, and Microsoft, hosted more than 100 students, who competed in 20 teams to develop skills in data analysis and artificial intelligence.
Furthermore, 1,800 young people took part in activities organized by the Programs and Activities Department at the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
