His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth, attended the final training session of our national team yesterday in support of the players, as well as the technical and administrative staff, ahead of today’s highly anticipated match against the Tunisian national team. It is worth noting that our national team is required to secure a win today, with no alternative, in addition to considering the result of the Palestine vs. Syria match, in order to qualify for the quarterfinals of the Arab Cup.

On the other hand, yesterday the Sudanese national team delegation received His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth, at their residence, as part of a welcoming visit and to check on the progress of the delegation’s work. His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the strong Sudanese fan presence during the tournament, praised the noticeable development in the performance of the Sudanese national team, and wished the “Jediane Falcons” success in the competition.
