His Excellency Mr. Salah bin Ghanim Al-Ali, Minister of Sports and Youth, and Mr. Fawaz Al-Masafri, Director of the Department of Youth Centers at the Ministry of Sports and Youth attended. On the closing day of the race, they were welcomed by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Fahd Al Thani, President of the Qatar Radio Sports Center, at the center of the Qatar Radio Sports Center for the activities of the “Qatar International Baylon Race”. Last Saturday, the final day of the international competition was full of achievements, as 10 countries and more than 30 competitors from all over the world competed, and during the ceremony, the winners were honored. Honoring the winners in the four categories

In the F3R category, the biggest surprise was that “Abdullah Fahad Al-Humaidi” – who raced for the first time – led the race and won first place, while “Polo Masidola” from Italy came in second place, and the third place was for the Australian “Brus Dekassel”.In the F3T category, “Brus de Castle” from Australia won first place, then the champion “Fahad Mubarak Al-Humaidi” came from Qatar in second place, while the third place was for “Polo Masidola” from Italy. As for the F3D category, which is the hardest and fastest variety, “Roman Boyar” came from the Czech Republic and won first place. “Robert van den Bosch” came from the Netherlands in second place, and the third was “Berm Lenthees” from Belgium. The Czech Republic was in the F3E category and reserved for herself by sweeping the first three seats. The first place was for Jan Sedaljek, the second was for Jerry Klein, and the third was for Camille Fedra. The center presented the trophy for the tournament, as it was designed at the Qatar Wireless Sports Center Airport Workshop, and was decorated with Arabic letters, to add an identity and an Arabic character to it, to be a surprise and impress all attendees and contestants. The winning champions were honored and took memorial photos during the celebrations of the delegations of countries to invalidate them, and the center concluded the tournament by presenting air flight offers for jet aircraft to the public.

Distinguished organization

It is also notable that the competition was advised with very positive reactions from the contestants and followers via live broadcast, in terms of equipment, the level of the circuit and the judgment system. Sheikh Mohammed bin Fahd Al Thani, Director of the Center, also stated that Qatar was included in the annual organization schedules of the International Baylon Championship to be the last stop in the annual qualifiers. He said that the Center plans to host other championships in different branches of radio aircraft, and thanked all the participating Arab and Gulf delegations, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, in a generous gesture that consolidates the concept of Arab solidarity, for their support for the unique event to organize the international Baylon competition in the State of Qatar. In terms of the principle of empowerment, the center contacted the AlKhor Girls Center to select a group of volunteers to participate in the arbitration, and a training program was made for the girls to prepare them to work on the latest arbitration system in the world, to be the first women’s team working on this system in the world. The center thanked the Ministry of Sports and Youth for their support and efforts to make this tournament a success, as well as the AlDana Girls Center for their honorable role and the Friends of the Environment Center for supporting them throughout the days of the tournament.
