Under the representation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Qatar Youth Hostels announced the organization of the international forum “Youth at Hostel,” which is a forum that brings together Qatari young people with others of different nationalities from youth hostel associations around the world. To chat and work on each version of the 17 sustainable development goals, as the first version will be launched with Goal No.17 entitled “Making Partnership to Achieve the Goals” over three continuous days. It will start on Saturday, December 23, until Tuesday, December 25, at the center of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, with international participation from Italy, Slovenia, Pakistan, India, Morocco, and Oman, in addition to local participation from Qatar. The forum is distinguished by the participation of several governmental and private entities, in addition to international organizations concerned with the aforesaid desired goal, and they are the partners of success. UNICEF, the International Federation of Youth Hostels, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar Museums, and Qatar Tourism, where will participate in a workshop to appear with proposals for the first version to be conducted. Submitting it to the relevant authorities to work on it. The forum also contains exploratory visits throughout the country, including a visit to Souq Waqif, one of the tourist and cultural attractions, and Msheireb City, one of the smart cities. As for the schedule of visits, on the first day and the second day, a visit to the Expo 2023 Qatar Horticulture Exhibition, and on the last day, there will be a visit to the Qatar National Museum, one of the most incredible national museums, and the Museum of Islamic Art, and then conclude with a tour in Al Sanbuk around the Doha Towers. To sum up, Qatar Youth Hostels declared: Our goal in organizing this forum is to join the efforts made by young people and concerned parties so that these 17 goals are used in developing productive initiatives and activities that help develop society in all fields but in the tourism field in particular.
