The Al Wakra Running Challenge, organized and sponsored by the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the Ministry of Sports and Youth and in collaboration with Trails Sports Events, took place in Al Wakra with 500 participants from over 50 nationalities across all segments of society.
In the 3-kilometer challenge, Nadine Elinir claimed first place in the Masters category. In the open category, Sumaya Ibrahim took first place, while Lovina Abado won the 5-kilometer Masters race for ages over 40, and Hanin Hussein led the open category. For the 10-kilometer race, Eska Siudmak won the Masters competition, and Hassna Kaba topped the open category. In the men’s races, Mounir Belkbir won the Masters category for ages over 40, while Adam Khalil claimed first place in the open category. Tima Bugul led the intermediate category, and Tamim Jazar won the junior category.
In the 5-kilometer race for the Masters, eight Qatari participants achieved top rankings, with Faleh Al-Maadid taking first place and Abdullah Al-Hawasli leading the open category. Additionally, Saeed Ali Al-Qahtani won the 10-kilometer Masters race, while Sayed Omar took first place in the open category.
