Under the guidance of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Qatar Sports for All Federation announced the details of the eighth edition of the Qatar Youth League 2024, the competitions of which will begin next week, on the training fields of Al Sadd Club, simultaneously with the activities of the National Sports Day. This was confirmed during the press conference held yesterday afternoon, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in the Lusail Sports Hall, to conduct the draw, determine the groups, and the teams participating in the tournament, in the presence of Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari – Head of Activities and Events at the Federation, along with representatives of the teams participating in the tournament.

The draw, which included 21 teams, all consisting of Qatari players, resulted in 4 groups, in which the first three groups included five teams, while the fourth group included six teams. The first group consisted of the teams: Zekreet, AlKass Television, Al Hazm, Abu Sidra, and Al Nasr, while the second group included teams: Umm Seneem, Al Wajbah, Al Mayeda, Al Khor, and The Police College. The third group included teams: Al Gharafa, Al Majd, Al Awaina, Ain Khaled, Sharq, and in the fourth group, teams from Khalifa City, Umm Salal, Muraikh, Al Rayyan, and Al Janoub and Barq are set to compete.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Head of Activities and Events at the Federation, confirmed that the eighth edition of the Qatar Youth League Championship have always aimed throughout the previous years, to provide the opportunity for the largest number of Qatari youth who cannot play football inside clubs, to play the game in the places designated for it, in order to benefit from these youthful energies, in addition to giving the opportunity for larger teams to explore talents in support of the clubs.
