The Qatar Billiards Federation concluded the activities of the training exchange program with its South Korean counterpart, which was held in Doha over five days at the federation’s headquarters, with the participation of players from the Qatari and South Korean national teams.

The program included joint training sessions between players of both teams, in addition to friendly competitions and matches in billiards and snooker, as well as workshops for coaches from both sides.

The final day featured doubles competitions between Al-Annabi players and the South Korean players, followed by the crowning of the winning players. A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between the two federations, aimed at enhancing the development of the sport and the exchange of technical expertise.

The South Korean participation in the program took place in two phases and included players, coaches, the federation president, and the executive director, who expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and high-quality organization. The South Korean delegation also highly praised the facilities and the attention given by the Qatar Billiards Federation to the sport, particularly its focus on age groups, youth, and national team players.

For his part, Mr. Mubarak Al-Khayarin, Executive Director of the Qatar Billiards Federation, praised this partnership and the training program between the two federations, noting that the federation is working diligently to strengthen its relations and partnerships with all national federations across the Asian continent, especially those with extensive experience and strong capabilities in the sport, in order to achieve further development and progress in the future.

Al-Khayarin emphasized that partnership agreements, cooperation, and the exchange of expertise will benefit both federations through direct interaction and shared learning, particularly for national team players.
