Competition intensified during the third round of the group stage of the 10th edition of the Qatar Youth Football League 2026, held on the Aspire pitches. The tournament is organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, a partner of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in partnership with the Aspire Zone Foundation. Matches recorded a noticeable rise in technical performance and featured highly competitive and exciting encounters, as the pace of competition increased among participating teams.

Teams delivered impressive performances and achieved notable results, with a total of 33 goals scored, reflecting the fierce battle for qualification spots as the group stage approaches its final phase. The tournament atmosphere was marked by high competitiveness, reaffirming its status as one of the federation’s most prominent sporting events.

Monday’s fixtures featured four strong matches. Aspire opened the day with a 1–0 victory over Mesaieed, while Al Nasr secured a commanding 5–2 win against Msheireb. In the third match, Al Maida edged past Al Musailah with a 1–0 victory, before the round concluded with a resounding 6–1 win by Rumaila over Madinat Khalifa.

The third round had kicked off on Sunday, producing results that highlighted the growing development of participating teams. Al Kass Channel claimed a thrilling 4–3 victory over Al Owaineh in a closely contested match, while Laffan defeated Al Wakrah 3–0. Labseir continued its strong form with a 2–0 win over Fereej Al Zaeem, and Katara recorded a dominant 5–0 victory against Al Shamal.

Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, praised the heightened level of competition witnessed during the third round of the Qatar Youth Football League. He noted that the matches featured high technical standards and revealed a number of promising talents and skills. He also highlighted the goal-scoring abundance as an indication of attacking boldness and strong competitive spirit displayed by the teams on the pitch.

Al-Dosari added that this performance reflects the significant development in players’ abilities and the quality of technical and training preparation undertaken by the teams ahead of the tournament. He emphasized that the teams’ displays during this round confirm their readiness to compete strongly for qualification to the advanced stages and to continue delivering rising technical performances in the upcoming matches.

The current edition of the Qatar Youth Football League features 20 teams, divided into four groups, with approximately 400 players participating. The tournament is considered one of the most prominent sporting events organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, serving as an important platform for Qatari youth not registered with the Qatar Football Association, opening new horizons for them while enhancing community participation and promoting a culture of sports participation.
