The 2026 Summer “Swimming for All” Program, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, has featured a series of training sessions that attracted strong participation from children and significant engagement from families.
The growing turnout reflects increasing awareness of the importance of physical activity, particularly swimming for young boys and girls, as it helps children acquire new sporting skills and enhances their physical activity and fitness.
The Qatar Sports for All Federation places particular emphasis on swimming and is committed to promoting the sport among children. The Arab Club swimming pool hosted the final training session of the summer program today, following a series of sessions held there throughout the summer, alongside those hosted at Al Wakrah Sports Club.
Abdullah Al Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, emphasized the importance of teaching swimming to young boys and girls. He noted that the successive training sessions have led to increasing participation from one round to another, providing a clear indication of the program’s success in attracting children.
He added that the growing participation also demonstrates families’ strong interest in ensuring that their sons and daughters learn swimming correctly and according to sound training principles.
The swimming sessions were conducted throughout the week under the supervision of specialized coaches, providing participants with a safe and structured environment in which to develop their swimming skills.
