Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and organized by the Qatar Federation for Sports for All, the “Summer Swimming Lessons” program has witnessed increasing participation. It targets children aged 7 to 12 years and, now in its fifth week, offers an ideal opportunity to make the most of the summer vacation by learning basic swimming skills, enhancing physical fitness, and encouraging children to adopt a healthy lifestyle. This is supported by their families, who have shown great engagement by involving them in swimming training sessions held at Al-Arabi Club, Al-Wakrah Club, and the Jameeliya Youth Center.

The swimming pool at Al-Arabi Sports Club hosts intensive training sessions for the fifth consecutive week, supervised by qualified coaches according to a set schedule. The period from Sunday to Wednesday is dedicated to boys, with sessions from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Girls’ training takes place on Saturday and Monday mornings, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, all within a safe training environment.

The summer swimming program continues at the Al-Wakrah Sports Club pool, which is open to boys throughout the week for one hour, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Girls train on Saturdays and Thursdays, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Additionally, the Jameeliya Youth Center pool hosts boys’ training sessions from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday through Wednesday.
