Lusail Sports Hall will open its doors to welcome children participating in the Sports for All Winter Camp, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation with the partnership of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, starting next Sunday and continuing until the end of the week. Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Federation, invited families to enroll their sons and daughters aged between six and eleven years in the camp’s activities, which coincide with the winter school holiday. The camp offers children the opportunity to enjoy a variety of sports and recreational activities delivered throughout its duration, with daily sessions running from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The winter camp includes a wide range of diverse recreational segments and simplified sports exercises, conducted under the supervision of specialized male and female trainers who possess the appropriate skills and qualifications to work with young children. These trainers have gained experience through previous forums and camps held at Lusail Hall. The camp’s activities aim to fill most of the children’s free time during the winter break, ensuring continuity of activity and vitality during a period that parallels regular school-day schedules. This is achieved through an attractive and motivating program for children, featuring enjoyable sports and recreational activities. The camp is expected to witness strong participation, similar to previous camps organized by the Sports for All Federation during the summer and autumn holidays. Registration for the camp is available through the Federation’s official application.
The winter camp embodies an ambitious vision aimed at spreading sports culture and enhancing physical fitness, particularly among young children, by offering an integrated package of activities that combine sports and recreation. These specialized programs receive full and continuous support from the Ministry of Sports and Youth and are implemented through initiatives developed by the Sports for All Federation. Collectively, they aim to contribute to building a promising generation that enjoys good health, sound physical fitness, and positive behavior. Camps held during school holidays have achieved notable success, reflected in strong community engagement and high participation rates. They represent a valuable opportunity for children to benefit from quality sports and recreational activities that help invest their free time, develop their skills, and instill motivation to practice sports—thereby strengthening the foundations of the present and contributing to building the pillars of the future.
The Sports for All Federation has completed all preparations to receive participating children by equipping the necessary facilities to run the camp’s activities. The program includes a variety of sports and recreational activities, ranging from speed and strength exercises, small-sided football matches, self-defense training (Muay Thai), to stretching, flexibility, and balance exercises. All activities are delivered by a training team with the experience and expertise required to work effectively with young children.
