The Qatar Sports for All Federation organized a visit to Al-Zubair Bin Al-Awam Primary School yesterday afternoon, during which various sports, awareness, and health activities were conducted. A number of students eagerly participated in these activities, showing great enthusiasm and a strong desire to benefit and enjoy the diverse sports and recreational segments offered during the visit. This visit is part of a series of many school visits that the Sports for All Federation is conducting across the country.

The resumption of school visits by Sports for All after the summer break aligns with the Ministry of Sports and Youth’s strategy and plans to make sports accessible to everyone. It also reflects the focus on nurturing young people, promoting sports participation across all age groups, especially young children, who represent a bright future. The initiative emphasizes the importance of physical activity and aims to prevent children from becoming an easy target for the allure of electronic games.

The visit to Al-Zubair Bin Al-Awam School created an active sports environment, with a variety of segments, including training in Muay Thai, a self-defense sport that the Sports for All Federation consistently includes in its recent activities. The federation has also organized several training courses in Muay Thai, which became one of the four main pillars of the federation’s summer program that took place during the summer vacation.
