Active Launch of “Sports for All Summer 2025” Swimming Program Across Various Venues
A vibrant and energetic start is underway for the “Sports for All Summer 2025” program across numerous halls, sports clubs, swimming pools, youth centers, and public parks. The program is organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in cooperation with more than 27 governmental bodies and institutions. The events kick off next Sunday and will continue until August 7th.
Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, confirmed that the summer swimming program is one of the key highlights of the summer activities. It will run for six weeks across clubs and youth centers, welcoming both boys and girls. Training sessions will be held from Sunday to Thursday each week to promote the culture of sports practice at various times and locations, raising public awareness about the importance of physical activity and fostering a lifestyle centered on sports.
The Arab Club swimming pool will open its doors for boys aged 7 to 12 starting next Sunday through Wednesday each week, from 3 PM to 4 PM. For girls, sessions will be held on Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays from 9 AM to 11 AM in a safe training environment designed to develop swimming skills.
The swimming program at Al-Wakrah Sports Club will start on July 5 and run until August 14. Boys’ swimming training takes place four days a week, from Sunday to Wednesday, for one hour from 3 PM to 4 PM. Girls will have sessions on Saturdays and Thursdays from 3 PM to 5 PM, ensuring inclusivity and fair distribution of opportunities.
Al-Jamiliyah Youth Center will also participate in the summer program by offering swimming training for boys on Sundays and Tuesdays from 4 PM to 5 PM. The activities will continue until August 12.
