Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Sports for All Federation collaborates with several youth centers, including Al Dhakhira, Al Samisima, Al Daayen, Al Jumailiya, and the Youth Committee of Al Khor Sports Club, in the “Sports Week” event. This event saw a significant turnout with the participation of 50 players from four youth centers. The closing ceremony of the Spring Volleyball Challenge Championship was hosted at Al Dhakhira Youth Center’s sports fields.
The final match, officiated by referees from the Sports for All Federation, witnessed strong competition and a significant challenge between the two teams. The Youth Committee of Al Khor Sports Club managed to win the match, securing the first-place position, while Al Samisima and Al Thakira Youth Center scored second place.
After the conclusion of the championship’s final match, the first and second-place winners were crowned, and the participants in the championship were honored. This event served as the culmination of the weekly sports program initiated by Al Dhakhira Youth Center. It also witnessed a significant presence of youth aged 16 and above, with a wide turnout for attendance and participation.
The participation of the Sports for All Federation in this sports and youth activity with Al Dhakhira Youth Center is part of the ongoing cooperation and coordination that has resulted in organizing three special badminton championships on the “Badminton Inn” courts in Al Khor. These championships cater to age groups from 15 to 39 years old and have seen significant participation from various age categories. This underscores the importance of continuing collaboration between the Federation and youth centers to diversify activities and sports events, meeting the aspirations of young people and motivating them to engage in continuous physical activity.
