The 9th edition of the Al-Fursan Championship 2025, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, concluded recently. The event was held in collaboration with sports clubs and youth centers and featured competitions in swimming, shooting, and horse riding, with total prize money exceeding QAR 250,000.

The closing ceremony took place at Al Rami Sports Club following the final events of pistol and shotgun shooting. The horse riding competitions were previously held in Sealine, while the 200-meter swimming event was hosted by Al-Arabi Club.

At the end of the championship, Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, honored Jassim Shaheen Al-Sulaiti, Vice President of Al Rami Sports Club, with a Distinction Shield. He also recognized the supporting entities: Al-Arabi Club, Al Rami Club, and the Endurance and Racing Club for their significant role in organizing and contributing to the success of the event.

Winners of the top three places in the team, individual, and experienced categories were awarded medals and cash prizes, while participants ranking from 4th to 10th place—those who completed all three events (horse riding, swimming, and shooting)—received consolation prizes. All participants were also awarded commemorative medals in appreciation of their efforts and to encourage continued participation in sports.

In the team category, Al Mazroua (1)—comprising Saoud Ali, Mohammed Al-Marri, and Rashid Al-Rumaihi—took first place, earning the gold medal and QAR 20,000. Al Mazroua (2)—featuring Masoud Ali, Muslim Al-Nabit, and Abdulmohsen Al-Marri—came second, receiving QAR 15,000, while Team Iktisah—including Mubarak Al-Ajji and Mohammed Al-Kuwari—finished third, earning QAR 10,000.

In the individual category, Mansour Khaled Al-Qashouti claimed first place and QAR 20,000, followed by Abdullah Al-Hammadi in second place with QAR 18,000, and Ali Khaled Al-Qashouti in third, receiving QAR 15,000.

In the experienced category, Mohammed Khaled Al-Qashouti won first place and QAR 30,000, Rashid Mohammed Al-Nuaimi took second place with QAR 25,000, and Tamim Jaber Al-Marri placed third, earning QAR 20,000.
