The Qatar Sports for All Federation, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, organizes the “365 Days of Activity” program, which features continuous activities throughout the year and is open to all segments of society, both men and women. The program takes place daily in public parks, where Laqta and Oxygen Parks host women’s exercises from 5 PM to 7 PM, while Aspire, Al Rayyan, and Al Gharafa Parks host men’s activities from 5 PM to 6 PM. Every afternoon, public parks transform into lively sports venues bustling with activity and vitality, accommodating all community members and age groups.

Abdullah Al-Dossari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, described the “365 Days of Activity” program as a unifying sports umbrella that brings together all members of society. It represents an open invitation for everyone to participate in exercises catering to ages from 7 to 65 years. He pointed out that the program is one of the federation’s fundamental pillars in its work plan to contribute to building a sports-oriented community, spreading the culture of sport, and making it a lifestyle.

As part of the program, every Sunday afternoon, Laqta Park—dedicated to women—hosts karate training sessions for girls aged 6 to 10. These sessions are conducted in a safe and encouraging environment under the supervision of qualified female coaches, who focus on boosting participants’ self-confidence through training in self-defense techniques.

“365 Days of Activity” also offers another sports platform with daily fitness exercises and competitions organized by the federation for women from 5 PM to 7 PM at Laqta and Oxygen Parks, while activities for men take place in Aspire, Al Rayyan, and Al Gharafa Parks. The program aims to raise awareness of the importance of physical activity in improving quality of life, promoting a culture of sports, and spreading it across all segments of society through diverse sports programs that meet individuals’ aspirations and develop their physical skills. These sessions are supervised by a select group of specialized trainers and include challenges such as plank holds, long jumps, push-ups, speed challenges, ball throws for distance, and balance and flexibility exercises.

Competitions are held across three main events focusing on strength (throwing a 5 kg ball within a designated area), speed (a 50-meter sprint), and endurance (holding the plank position for the longest time).

The fitness championship is considered one of the important activities in the community sports activity map. The federation continuously develops its events through interactive programs open to all—men, women, children, and seniors—to practice sports in a safe and attractive environment. Registration and participation are available via the federation’s official app, ensuring easy access for community members to join the daily sports activities.
