The third round of the Sport for All Summer Camp for Children 2026 kicked off this morning at Lusail Sports Hall. Organized by the Qatar Sport for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the camp welcomes boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 11 and has attracted growing participation from both children and parents. The third round follows the success of the first two rounds, which saw strong participation and enthusiastic engagement with the camp’s activities and programs. Building on that success, the Federation has further enhanced and diversified the camp’s offerings to better meet children’s interests and provide an enriching summer experience that combines fun with learning while allowing participants to enjoy a wide variety of sports and physical activities. The camp offers a comprehensive schedule of sports and recreational activities, including fitness training, speed, strength, flexibility, and balance exercises, football matches, table tennis, movement-based games, and Muay Thai self-defense training, in addition to a variety of other sports activities and group challenges that create an exciting atmosphere, encourage children to stay active, and provide them with an enjoyable and rewarding summer experience.

Mr. Abdullah Al Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sport for All Federation, said that the growing number of participants and increasing demand for the camp’s third round clearly demonstrate the quality of the sports and recreational content being offered to children. He added that the camp continues to deliver a unique summer experience that combines sports, recreation, and learning in a safe and motivating environment. He emphasized that the Federation is committed to ensuring that the camp goes beyond traditional sports sessions by offering a diverse program that enables children to experience multiple sports while participating in games, competitions, and recreational activities. Mr. Al Dosari also noted that the atmosphere throughout the camp reflects the strong interaction among children, coaches, and supervisors, explaining that enthusiasm, friendly competition, and teamwork have become defining characteristics of the program. He further emphasized that parents’ attendance and support remain an important factor in the continued success of the summer camp.
