Smaisma and Al Daayen Youth Center implements a range of purposeful programs and activities designed to support persons with disabilities by providing them with a suitable, safe, and encouraging environment. This initiative stems from the vision of the Ministry of Sports and Youth to empower young people, enhance their participation in society, and launch specialized initiatives and projects that support persons with disabilities. It also reflects the Center’s commitment to promoting the concept of inclusion and enabling all segments of society to actively participate in youth programs and activities.
The programs included training and qualifying the Center’s staff to effectively engage with persons with disabilities across various categories, thereby enhancing institutional readiness and ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs that take into account their needs and abilities. The Center also engaged youth leaders and volunteers in inclusion programs and various activities, with the aim of fostering a socially responsible generation equipped with the skills and awareness needed to interact positively with persons with disabilities and support their active participation in society.
