The General Assembly of Al Rayyan Sports Club convened yesterday evening (Monday) to complete the agenda item on electing the club’s new management. During the meeting, H.E. Sheikh Al-Qaqa bin Hamad Al Thani was elected as President of Al Rayyan Sports Club, with Mr. Ali Salem Afifa as Vice President, and Eng. Mohammed Al-Atwan appointed as General Supervisor of the club and Chief Executive Officer of Al Rayyan Football Company for the upcoming term.

This followed the General Assembly meeting held last Saturday, during which members approved the minutes of the previous session dated 7 August 2024. The assembly also reviewed the annual report of the Club President for the 2024/2025 season, discussed the activity programs and action plan for 2025/2026, approved the final accounts for the fiscal year 2024/2025, and ratified the proposed budget for 2025/2026. In addition, the auditor’s report for 2024/2025 was presented, and an auditor was appointed for 2025/2026 along with the approval of his fees. Proposals submitted by members of the General Assembly were also considered.

Members of the assembly praised the achievements accomplished so far and emphasized the importance of continuing to enhance programs and improve the quality of all sports activities—both individual and team-based—in order to ensure sustainable competitiveness across all disciplines.
