In line with the Ministry of Sports and Youth’s efforts to uplift youth, develop their abilities, highlight their roles in fulfilling their duties, care for talented and outstanding individuals, and work on enhancing their skills, the Youth Affairs Department organized the Ramadan Youth Forum under the theme “Towards a Better Tomorrow and Empowered Youth.” The event was held on March 16, 2025, at Msheireb.

The forum aims to engage young people who have graduated from various programs in discussion sessions that focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, enhancing environmental awareness, and exchanging ideas and experiences among participants. It also seeks to strengthen the role of youth in achieving sustainable development, as well as providing opportunities for them to contribute effectively to society. The forum serves as an opportunity to foster communication among youth, exchange knowledge and experiences, and contribute to building a strong and influential youth community.

The forum included two dialogue sessions. The first session, titled “Specialized and Empowered Youth,” discussed several topics, including climate, innovation, entrepreneurship, and active participation.

The second dialogue session, attended by several youth center directors, was titled “Empowering Youth in Youth Centers.” The aim was to present the services, programs, and activities offered by youth centers to empower Qatari youth.

Mr. Fawaz Abdullah Al-Masifiri stated that the Ramadan dialogue sessions have become a cherished tradition for the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth. These forums allow youth outside the ministry to learn about the latest programs and projects being offered by the ministry. They also enable the Youth Affairs Department to directly consult with youth, without intermediaries, allowing them to voice their opinions and share their aspirations, while searching for solutions to the challenges they may face.
