Under the representation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Qatar Sports for All Federation organized the Lusail Sports Lounge, a Ramadan pool championship competition for the staff of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The tournament enjoyed intense competition and a vital challenge within the series of different Ramadan activities and events, arranged by the Federation on the event of the holy month. The final match resulted in Mr. Ahmed Al-Trabulsi, Information Technology Department, winning first place, while Mr. Mohammed Samour – Asset and Project Management, came in second place.
After the conclusion of the final match, Mr. Abdullah Al-Dossari, Head of Activities and Events at the Sports for All Federation, crowned the first and second-placed holders with trophies. The tournament competitions, which lasted for four days, received a large presence of the ministry’s employees and various departments, where the billiard competitions took place with the participation of 25 competitors. The Chairman of Activities and Events expressed his happiness to attain the goals of the tournament through competition, and wide participation, by all the departments of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, federations and clubs of the Ministry and everyone’s keenness to provide a good level, pointing out that the Federation seeks to organize special sports tournaments and events for the Ministry’s employees, to provide the opportunity for workers to practice sports activity, and spread the culture of practicing sports among all community groups.
In the same context, the Sports for All Table Tennis Championship kicks off this afternoon, with great participation, from the Ministry’s employees, due to the popularity of the table tennis game. The coming days will also see the launch of other sports championships and events, within the sports activity, which is allocated by the Qatar Sports Federation for All, to the employees of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, during the holy month of Ramadan.
