The activities of “Amman, Capital of Arab Youth 2025” kicked off yesterday in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, marked by the official launch of the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace, and Security. The event witnessed the participation of Arab ministers of youth and sports, representatives of the League of Arab States, and youth delegations from 20 Arab countries, including the State of Qatar.

Qatar was represented by a delegation headed by Mr. Fawaz Al-Musaifri, Director of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Mr. Al-Musaifri affirmed that the Qatari delegation attended the opening conference of the strategy’s implementation plan, along with the dialogue sessions scheduled to continue over two days.

In parallel, another representative from the Ministry of Sports and Youth participated in the Meeting of Arab Youth Capitals, which is being held in Jordan and continues until July 11, under the theme:

“Youth and Economic Empowerment Amidst Contemporary Changes.”

The Qatari delegation was led by Mr. Rashid Al-Nuaimi and included a group of distinguished young Qatari men and women, who presented a commendable model of Qatari youth through their participation in interactive dialogue sessions, heritage and cultural activities, and engagement with fellow Arab youth delegations.

Mr. Al-Nuaimi emphasized that Qatar’s participation in this event reflects the country’s steadfast commitment to empowering Qatari and Arab youth, and to strengthening their role in achieving sustainable development.

He noted that the platform provided an important opportunity to exchange successful experiences, and to showcase the Qatari model in economic empowerment, which is grounded in a clear national vision focused on investing in youth potential.
