Under the representation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the first round of the 9th edition of the Qatar Youth Football League 2025 will begin this evening. The event, organized and supervised by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, will take place at the training fields of Al-Sadd Sports Club.

The opening match between Al-Maida and Athba is set to kick off at 6:30 PM, followed by Al-Huwaila vs. Al-Sij at 7:30 PM. At 8:30 PM, Police College will face Al-Kass Channel, and the evening will conclude with Zakreet facing Lawaeina at 9:30 PM.

The tournament features 20 teams, all consisting of Qatari players, and is divided into four groups of five teams each. Group A includes Al-Maida, Athba, Al-Thumama, Al-Janoub, and Umm Salal. Group B consists of Al-Huwaila, Al-Sij, Al-Wajbah, Police Academy, and Barouq. Group C includes Police College, Al-Kass Channel, Khalifa City, Al-Labib, and Ain Khalid. Finally, Group D includes Zakreet, Lawaeina, Al-Nasr, Al-Riffa, and Al-Hamala.

Al-Sadd Sports Club is hosting the matches, underscoring the strong collaboration between the Qatar Sports for All Federation and Al-Sadd, particularly its youth department. This partnership ensures the success of the event, providing young Qatari players the opportunity to showcase their skills and develop their potential in a professional setting.

The Qatar Youth League aims to give young athletes the chance to play football regularly in a competitive environment, offering a well-structured platform that encourages consistent participation in sports.
