Compass International School hosted sporting activities organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, as part of ongoing cooperation and coordination between the Federation and various entities to promote community sports activities. The events included Muay Thai self-defense games and a variety of other sports activities in celebration of the Dutch National Day.
The event, held last Friday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, witnessed remarkable engagement, attracting many participants of both genders with a quality turnout. Muay Thai self-defense training sessions were conducted under the supervision of specialized trainers from the Sports for All Federation. Other sports activities, including fitness exercises and group games, involved participants of different ages, creating a family-friendly atmosphere full of fun and celebration.
Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, said: “The event was held in a festive and lively atmosphere that emphasized physical activity and vitality. It contributed to reinforcing the concept of sport as a healthy lifestyle.” He highlighted the Federation’s commitment to involving all segments of society—men, women, children, and seniors—in regular sports activities that enhance physical and mental health.
Al-Dosari praised the cooperation of Compass International School, which played a major role in the success of the event by providing the venue and support, reflecting the valuable and important partnership between educational institutions and the Qatar Sports for All Federation.
