The Qatar Sports For All Federation, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, organized a series of sports and recreational activities at Lusail Sports Hall for students of Ajial Altarbwy Center, with the participation of approximately 100 students from all educational levels. The event was held within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Federation and the Center, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and coordination in implementing community sports programmes and activities, promoting a culture of sports participation, and raising awareness of the importance of physical activity.

The activities included a variety of sports and recreational programmes, including fitness exercises, Muay Thai self-defense training, and table tennis. The activities were marked by an enthusiastic atmosphere and received strong engagement from the students. The event concluded with the organization of a mini football tournament. The students expressed their happiness at participating in this special sports day, which gave them the opportunity to practise a variety of sports, make positive use of their leisure time, and acquire new sporting skills.

Mr. Abdullah Al Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports For All Federation, said: “The Sports Day for Ajial Altarbwy Center students witnessed a distinguished atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and interaction from the students, who demonstrated a high level of energy and vitality throughout their participation in the various activities. This spirit confirms the importance and necessity of providing dedicated sports programmes for young people, giving them the opportunity to discover their abilities and refine their talents through enjoying sports in a safe and motivating environment, supported by the diversity and quality of the sports and recreational activities.”

Al Dosari explained that these activities are part of the “Sport for All Summer 2026” programme, which includes more than 90 sports and community championships and activities. The Federation is committed to designing, organizing and delivering these activities to meet community aspirations and provide different segments of society, particularly children and young people, with broad opportunities to practice sports, enjoy recreational activities, and experience new, distinctive and dynamic activities during the summer. The Executive Director of the Qatar Sports For All Federation also praised the Memorandum of Understanding concluded between the Federation and Ajial Altarbwy Center, describing it as an important step towards strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two parties in implementing sports and community programmes and activities.
