Qatar Bowling Center Hosts “Sports for All” Bowling Championship Amid Strong Participation

The Qatar Bowling Center is set to host the “Sports for All” Bowling Championship, organized by the Qatar Federation for Sports for All under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in cooperation with the Qatar Bowling Federation. The competition will kick off tomorrow afternoon, Monday, from 3 PM to 6 PM and will continue over two days, attracting a large participation across various age groups.

This championship is part of a series of diverse sporting events organized by the Federation for Sports for All, aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and spreading the culture of sports within the community by providing multiple competitive platforms and diverse sporting activities.

Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Federation for Sports for All, stated that the 2025 bowling championship continues the successful legacy of previous editions organized over the past years. He highlighted the wide registration turnout for this round, reflecting a growing community interest in engaging in sports and enhancing the stature of this championship as one of the distinguished sporting events in the Federation’s annual calendar.

Al-Dosari emphasized the Federation’s commitment to offering a variety of sports activities that cater to the interests of all community members, creating an encouraging environment for competition and interaction. He pointed out that organizing this and other community sports events aligns with the Ministry of Sports and Youth’s vision to promote a culture of sports for all across society.

“We continuously work on developing our events and launching numerous initiatives to firmly establish the concept of sports as a lifestyle. Participants and audiences alike can expect an exceptional championship, both in terms of organization and the technical and competitive levels,” Al-Dosari added.

He explained that the championship is open to all age groups and provides an ideal opportunity for players to showcase their technical skills and engage with bowling enthusiasts. Bowling tournaments remain among the most prominent sporting events in Qatar, thanks to the game’s widespread popularity and the historic achievements of Qatari players at both continental and international levels over many years.
