Qatar Airways embraced the arrival of Formula One to Doha at Hamad International Airport ahead of the start of the Qatar Airways Grand Prix competitions.

This celebration was attended by the Minister of Sports and Youth, His Excellency Mr. Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali, His Excellency and CEO of Qatar Airways, Mr. Akbar Al Baker, the CEO of Formula One Group, Mr. Stefan Dumenikeli, and the President of the Qatar Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulatif Al-Mannai.

Al Baker noted, “Since we announced our sponsorship of Formula One races, we have been looking forward to hosting the Qatar Airways Grand Prix Qatar 2023 provides to the sporting heritage of the State of Qatar we are eagerly anticipating the start of the Qatar Grand Prix to record together a new historical achievement in Qatar”.
