As part of the preparation for the start of the Qatar Youth Delegates Program to the United Nations, personal interviews for acceptance into the program were conducted on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. The committee established five basic criteria for the interview, such as the candidate’s knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), United Nations organizations, and proficiency in the English language. Twenty-four young graduates from various strategic programs of the Youth Affairs Department attended the interview.

The training program is scheduled to begin on the evening of Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the United Nations House in Doha. The program aims to prepare a group of young people capable of representing the State of Qatar in meetings held by the United Nations from June 2024 to December 2024 in various countries.
