The State Sports Day Committee, headed by Mr. Abdul Rahman bin Muslim Al-Dosari, Advisor to the Minister of Sports and Youth, has announced the opening of registration for the State Sports Day Award and has notified all relevant entities to participate in the award.

Event data should be registered through the Ministry of Sports and Youth’s website, and evaluations will take place no later than seven days before the end of the month following the event.

Mr. Al-Dosari stated that the Ministry of Sports and Youth has launched the State Sports Day Award for the first time for all government and private entities to encourage employees of ministries, institutions, and the private sector to organize and hold continuous sports activities throughout the year.

The Chair of the Sports Day Committee emphasized that the award aims to honor government and private entities that contribute to promoting sports among their employees.

Participation in the State Sports Day Award will continue until July 31 of next year, and winning entities will be honored during the Sports and Youth Excellence Award ceremony in September 2025.

Conditions for participating in the State Sports Day Award include promoting the participating entities’ sports events on social media using the hashtags #في_وقت (In Time) and #الرياضة_حياة (Sports is Life), along with mentioning the State Sports Day account. Participants must document all activities by taking clear photos and videos to share on their social media accounts, and complete the event form available on the Ministry of Sports and Youth’s website, including details about the event and the number of participants.

Points in the award will be calculated based on four main criteria, including the number of organized events such as football, table tennis, volleyball, billiards, walking, running, and fitness sessions, at appropriate locations according to the type of sport, the number of participants, and the number of days the event is held
