The Education City Stadium Park hosted the second edition of the Women’s Sports for All Running Series, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation.

The race, exclusively for women and girls, started at 6:00 p.m. in one of the World Cup stadiums in Education City. The participants, along with their daughters, enjoyed special times filled with various sports and entertainment activities. The different race distances, which continued until 8:00 p.m., were filled with challenge and competition in a family-friendly atmosphere.

In the 10-minute race, intense competition led to Lujain Hamami taking first place in the intermediate category, followed by Nouf Al-Muftah in second, and Fatima Al-Kuwari in third. In the youth category, Nourkhan took first place, followed by Al-Dana Al-Misferi in second, and Jawhara Al-Saadi in third. Juliette Hosati led the beginners’ category, with Shireen Abu Dhaki in second, and Al-Mahra Nasser Al-Mahndi in third place.

In the 15-minute race for women, Asmaa Al-Qashouti took first place in the open category, followed by Hessa Al-Kuwari in second and Fatima Al-Maliki in third. Linda Fleur claimed first place in the masters’ category.

The competition continued with the 30-minute race, where Fatima Al-Muftah secured first place in the open category, while the distinguished competitor Julina Bekovich led the masters’ category after fierce competition with the other participants.

In the 5-minute race for young girls, Mira Al-Kaabi led all competitors and won first place.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Head of Activities and Events at the Qatar Sports for All Federation, praised the significant success and active participation in the Women’s Running Series from one edition to the next.
